“Jesus’ Birthday”

Christmas is celebrated as the day of the Birth of Christ in this world, yet it also symbolizes a very deeply significant truth of the spiritual life. A very small, but very beautiful, point of deep significance is attached to Christmas. We celebrate Christmas Day on the 25th of December. As a tradition, we give gifts to the one we love, we prepared delicious food to share to others, we put Christmas lights around our house and we place a Christmas tree in our living room .In celebrating Christmas Day, we understand the true essence of Christmas.
Christmas Day is the time and the manner of the birth of the Lord. Jesus Christ was not born in a grand palace. He was not born to very wealthy or learned parents. He was born in a simple ordinary place. He was born to humble and poor parents, who had nothing to boast about, except their own clean character and devoutness.
Maybe few of people weren’t celebrating Christmas because not all of us believe in God. They don’t believe maybe because they didn’t understand who God is and what Christmas is for.
For me having a Christmas celebration is very important. It is a time to thank and praise God of what had he done in terms of sacrificing just for us. I believe in God who gives us the best of himself.

“Family Planning”

Some of our couples today had a lot of children for the reason that they didn’t implement family planning. This is one of the reasons why some of teenagers or young adults involved in prostitution and soon to abortion. Due to lack of knowledge about family planning, they will not think of how many children will they have.

"Family planning" is often used differing with "birth control." However, family planning doesn't just involve contraception. Family planning also includes planning the birth of your children for certain times possibly by spacing out births a few years apart and planning for a child or children when there are problems conceive.

Family planning is important for the health of the children and the mother and for the economic situation of the family. Planning a family is one of the most important decisions you will make. It is important in order for us to help our economy due to over population and most especially for the women to prevent unwanted pregnancies.

Planning a family is hard particularly to the mothers but we must put into practice the family planning in order to provide your children a good education, to avoid financial struggle and most importantly give them time.

“PNoy, After 100 Days”

Aside from issues and controversies in our country today, the much awaited moment was already revealed. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III was the newly elected president here in our country. A lot of people supported his candidacy because of her mother Cory Aquino who was one of the bravest people and a mother of democracy. Another is Pnoy has no unlawful records during his term as part of the senate.
People who were in favor of Pnoy still believe in Pnoy’s ability in terms of what had happen in our country recently. Many issues take place when Pnoy was about to seat as a President. Like hacienda luicita and so on. But still Pnoy stays calm and do his job to find a way to solve the problem.
The biggest concern that had occurred recently was the hostage crisis tragedy. Like they said, if the leader did a good job they gave praises but when they commits mistake, they commented to Pnoy so annoyed. Aside from that, many activist were disagreed of what Pnoy was about to do. That is to lessen the budget of education.
However, I commend him for supporting the RH bill. As part of the community, we should give Pnoy time to prove himself as a leader.

“Garbage Problem”

Since two typhoons hit the Philippines, many are still awaiting help. A lot of people were drowned and dead because of Ondoy.  One of the reasons is that garbage. Garbage is the waste food that is thrown away and products that is discarded in spite of of their reusability and recyclability.

Here in the Philippines, many part of our place were covered by garbage or trash. It is very awkward for the tourists that they saw some of the garbage’s scattered around. As what I’ve observe, a lot of people don’t know the importance of proper disposing. Especially those who are smoking, no offense for those who smoked, but even if their cigarette was tiny it is still a trash. Also one of the reasons is that, there is no public disposal unit to every city streets.

My suggestion for that is to increase the amount of public disposal units (public garbage cans) for the outdoor city/street use. They should place signs around that advice citizen to kindly dispose waste into a nearby disposal. To better educate the people, the government must really push the importance and really emphasize the benefits of proper disposing. They should really teach the children and the youth to really practice how to properly throw and sort-out garbage. Parents should be good role-models for this in order for children to really understand the importance of it.

When you know that garbage builds a lot in one area, where there is no place to throw the trash other than throw it on the ground, why not place a damn garbage can to throw it up.

“Importance of Exercise”

Many people today are less physically active during their daily routine, due to the use of cars, labor-saving machinery, moving stairs, lifts, and so on. As well, food is far more plentiful, assorted, quick and easy to prepare. That is why many report that a person who are obese, chubby or lack of exercises, they tend to have heart attack.
Exercise is the physical application of the body - making the body do a physical activity which results in a healthy or healthier level of physical fitness and both physical and mental health. In other words, exercise aims to maintain or enhance our physical fitness and general health. People exercise for many different reasons. Some of them are strengthening muscles, to prevent from having heart attack, some are for fun and to socialize.
Exercise is good for everyone. Exercising depends on the age, available time, facilities and costs. Sports can be individual or collective, competitive or not. Even walking to the office place, swimming, a tennis match in the evening, or biking in the week-end do count. What it is very important is that exercising must be routine, not occasional, to be effective. Our bodies had to be fit and strong in order for us to be healthy.
Therefore, we should exercise in order for us to be fit and healthy especially for those who are obese, for those who have arthritis or has a deficiency in heart, for the people who are stress; it also helps to retrieve nervous tension and depression.

Using contraceptives

There are so many new types of contraceptives. Women are more likely to use birth control than any other form of contraceptive. There are many different forms of contraceptives and how they are important in today’s society. In order for a couple to stay married and not get divorced, certain things have to give even teens usually do that.

Premaritall sex is a big and important thing in today’s society. It covers the use of contraceptives while a couple is not married. This helps a couple have sex without producing children before they get married. They use contraceptives in order for them to protect pregnancy. Even though the church disagreed in using it because it is immoral. They said that we people have no right to take the life of an individual.

One of the most common problems in our country especially experienced by our teens today is the premarital sex which results to unwanted pregnancies. Pregnancies that one did not want to happen but it just happened because of the aggressiveness and irresponsibility of the person. Why involve in sex if you do not want to take the responsibilities of your actions especially when the future will be put to risk?

For me, before doing the things like that, think of the consequences first Or before you do premarital sex, just be prepared of its outcome.
